Panepistimio Thessalias (University of Thessaly) – UTH was founded in 1984. It is among the three largest Universitites in Greece, with its present academic structure consisting of thirty five (35) departments, with approx 45,000 undergraduate students and 1,500 PhD students. The main mission of UTH is the promotion of scientific knowledge through research and contribution to the cultural and economic development of the local community and wider society. It is known for its excellent research performance and outstanding scientific accomplishments, in accordance with international standards. The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics of UTH is a unique University Department in Greece combining knowledge and experience from three disciplines, namely computer science/information technology, biology and medicine. Its students receive a multidisciplinary background which makes them ideal executives in the biomedical industry, including pharma and medical device industries. The research interests of the Intelligent Systems Laboratory-ISL which represents the Dept. of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics of UTH lies within the intersection of the research fields of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, while focusing on real world applications in Biomedicine and Medical Informatics

The Center for the Promotion of Science (CPN) is a public institution based in Belgrade, Serbia, established in 2010 by the Law on Scientific Research with the task to promote science and technology. The Center, according to its mandate, cooperates with research and educational institutions (universities, research centers and schools) in Serbia and worldwide, works closely with the government ministries as well as the media and the private sector. CPN’s mission is to bridge the gap between science and society by bringing together researchers, educators, policy makers, civil society organizations, business, the industry and general public in the process of research and innovation. The ultimate goal is to influence and adapt general research agendas to reflect the needs of society and to address societal challenges engaging in the process all actors involved.

VRAcademi is a start-up and a global e-learning platform for learning future digital and design skills. It is creating a generation of designers from the age of 9+ who create, experiment, and share their stories and innovations using VR. VRAcademi takes design to next level through courses in Digital Art, Movie Making and 3D Game Development in Virtual Reality. The youth learn to create a value for their design using the virtual metaverse and curate their intellectual property using NFT technology. It is a global inclusive academy giving a design path to underprivileged children globally. VRAcademi is a leading studio offering Immersive Virtual Reality (VR) services for creating sensational VR content.

The National Technical University of Athens is structured according to the continental European system for training engineers, with an emphasis on solid background. The valuable work of NTUA and its international reputation are due to its well organised educational and research system, the quality of its staff and students, and the adequacy of its technical infrastructure. The NTUA’s mission, effected through the integrated complex of studies and research, is to provide advanced higher education of outstanding quality in science and technology. Founded in 1837, it has 9 Schools, 512 faculty members, 4.090 external collaborators, 23.914 students, 300,000 sq.m. of installations.
Partner in this project is the EPU of the Decision Support Systems Laboratory, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, national Technical University of Athens. EPU-NTUA is a multidisciplinary scientific unit which carries out research and development activities providing management and decision support services on a wide range of complex business, societal and technical problems.

It is one of the older schools in Lamia, Greece with 180 students of age 6-12 and 29 teachers (Primary teachers and specialties). It serves as an Experimental school. Thus, in this school new curricula and timetables, teaching tools, textbooks and other educational materials, teaching methods and modes of operation of the school unit are being piloted. The purpose of the Experimental schools is to assist in meeting the research and training needs of the education system and to disseminate good educational practices. The teachers of Experimental schools have increased formal qualifications and the appropriate scientific and pedagogical training and teaching experience in order to be able to implement pilot applications, to contribute to the evaluation of their results, to provide the necessary feedback for improvement of educational planning. The 16th Experimental School of Lamia has signed a MoU with the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics of the University of Thessaly.

Petro Kuzmjak is a school in Northern Serbia, recognized for its many innovative projects in the field of STEM education. It consists of primary school (7-15 yrs), high school (15-19yrs) and boarding school where high school students from other towns live during week. The High school consists of gymnasium classical high school education in Ruthenian and Serbian languages, and vocational school in tourism. The area of expertise of the school is developing learning material and giving workshops on STEM and STEAM in local schools and schools all over Serbia.
